Auriculotherapist (Auriculotherapy Certification Institute), and Certified Aromatherapist (The American Institute for Aromatherapy
& Herbal Studies), with 20+ years of clinical experience, and offices previously in Los Angeles and Stockholm. He has
been practicing in Boise, Idaho since 1999. Dr. Karlfeldt holds a professional license in Washington D.C.
Including education, seminar, clinical, and certification hours, Dr. Karlfeldt has accumulated more
than 26,325 Naturopathic Career Hours.
Dr. Karlfeldt has a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (N.M.D.) degree from Central States College
of Health Sciences in Ohio; a Doctor of Philosophy in Natural Health (Ph.D.) degree from Clayton College of Natural Health;
a Doctor of Naturopathy (N.D.) degree from Clayton College of Natural Health; a Master of Science in Natural Health (M.S.)degree
from Clayton College of Natural Health; Two years Engineering Program at Fredrika Bremerskolan in Sweden; Studies of Philosophy,
Meditation Techniques, Pali (the ancient language of Buddha), Buddhist Dharma, and Ancient Texts at the College of Buddhist
Studies in Los Angeles plus Continuing Education in the latest advancements in Naturopathy, Glycoscience, Nutrition, and Herbology.
Dr. Karlfeldt had a seven year apprenticeship, encompassing
rigorous, supervised, clinical training, with the renowned Swedish Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Ingemar Wiberg (Primary Designer
of the Curriculum of the leading Swedish Naturopathic School – Birger Ledins Naturläkarskolan). He is also past elected Board Member of the Idaho Association of Naturopathic Physicians.
Dr. Karlfeldt is a seasoned lecturer at Universities, public and private venues in both the United States and Sweden. He has
published articles in newsletters and magazines covering diverse health topics.
Michael grew up in the outskirts of Stockholm where he enjoyed hiking, walking, and camping
under the Nordic sky surrounded by beautiful mountains, fields, and forests. He loves playing tennis and volleyball. He earned
his Black Belt in Tae Kwan Do in 2000. His beloved wife, Kim, is a professional singer, published writer, photographer,
and artist. She is also a Certified Public Accountant with Big 6, Fortune 500, and Entertainment Industry Experience and holds
a Masters in Business Taxation from USC and Bachelors in Economics from UCLA. Dr. Michael Karlfeldt and Kim live under the
charming Foothills in Boise, Idaho. They love to travel and experience different cultures and exquisite places.
